A charm for recognizing the magic in everyday things.
'Ulu is the Hawaiian word for the incredibly versatile Breadfruit Tree. This plant is highly nutritious, 'ono (delicious) and can be prepared in countless ways. It can be enjoyed as a fruit, cooked like a vegetable, baked like bread, mashed into a custard for dessert or pounded into po'i 'ulu. A single tree can produce hundreds of pounds of fruit a year and are incredibly important in local sustainability movements and food security.
This pin depicts an 'ulu branch with cosmic twinkles around it because this plant really is magical!
